Herd Health

Herd health is of the upmost importance to us and we do our very best to maintain a happy healthy herd.

We have been a member of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme (PCHS) since 2003.

The herd has been accredited

BVD free since 2008.

Johnes level 1 since 2016

and is IBR monitored.

All breeding stock are routinely vaccinated for lepto and BVD

We run a closed herd and any animals introduced are kept in isolation for 2 months and are fully tested before introduction to the rest of the herd.
