A visit from the local Fire Service

We had the pleasure of hosting the local fire fighters for the day, helping them learn about how to deal with livestock safely and to test out their specialist animal rescue equipment.

As many of you will know an animal is most dangerous and unpredictable when it is distressed, the skills learned will hopefully help to reduce the risk to both the rescue crews and the animals.
